Summary
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for inventory accuracy, cycle counting, reporting, and adjustments. This role is a resource to address production and inventory errors in the system, including investigating errors and assisting with various requests from other departments.
Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Owns managing ingredients, packaging materials, and/or finished good inventory
- Coordinate material transfers between the two warehouses.
- Needs to assist in managing FIFO/FEFO, proper documentation, and other FSQ requirements
- Regular cycle counting inventory according to prescribed criteria.
- Assists with fiscal year end audit.
- Able to investigate errors and discrepancies to understand the root cause and make corrections.
- Have a strong working relationship with Production, FSQ, Procurement, Customer Service, and other departments as needed.
- Be a subject matter expert on WMS system, NetSuite ERP, and other systems as needed.
- Reviews production entries and/or batch issuing on daily basis.
- Monitor and close jobs in WMS system as needed.
- Support loss and waste analysis as needed.
- Verifies and confirms the recording of all ingredient and packaging materials entry and exit transactions in our Powerhouse WMS system.
- Performs other clerical tasks as required.
- Ensure work is in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
Education
1. High School Education, GED, or equivalent.

- Forklift experience
- Two years’ experience in a Warehouse and/or Inventory Management role.
- Ability to support warehouse functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to use various computer systems, including Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Warehouse, and Inventory systems, etc.

The work environment can range from extremely cold (zero degrees) upwards of eighty-ninety degrees in the warehouse, although the main warehouse is climate controlled. The work environment is typically noisy with regular amounts of machine noises including but not limited to typical sounds from forklifts, freight trucks, high lifts, and other manufacturing-related machinery. The smell of related chemicals and lubricants may occur.
